Job Description
Community Medical and Dental Care, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Dermatologist to join our expanding team in Rockland County, NY. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, experience, and excellent communication abilities. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dermatology care to patients of all age groups, perform various procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and stay updated on medical advancements.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical examinations to evaluate complex dermatological issues.
- Order appropriate laboratory studies and special examinations.
- Collect specimens for skin pathological examinations.
- Analyze data, formulate diagnoses, and establish health management plans.
- Provide consultations on complex medical problems to other healthcare providers.
- Prescribe medication and monitor side-effects.
- Perform dermatology surgery when necessary.
- Refer patients to specialty providers as required.
- Follow up on referrals, labs, and test results.
- Adhere to assigned duties as per scope of services.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology.
- Active NY State Medical License.
- 2+ years of experience preferred.
- Excellent bedside manner.
- Ability to work independently.
