Development Communications Director

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Development Communications Director to join Bayview Hunters Point Foundation, a key player in social justice initiatives in San Francisco. As the Director of Development and Communications, you will collaborate closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to enhance philanthropic activities and community relations for the foundation. Your role involves implementing fundraising strategies, managing donor relationships, and overseeing communication efforts to support the organization's mission in the Bayview area and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage philanthropic fund development programs, major donor portfolios, and grant initiatives.
• Lead communication strategies including branding, digital and print media, and social media presence.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling content, materials, and events that engage stakeholders and promote the foundation's mission.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in fundraising within nonprofit or social impact organizations.
• Strong communication skills with expertise in social media, presentations, and stakeholder engagement.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in fundraising or related field.
• Proficiency in technology tools and platforms for fundraising and communication.
