Job Description

Vaxxinova US is seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Diagnostic Virology Laboratory Technician. As the Diagnostics Laboratory Technician at Vaxxinova, you will be responsible for assisting in cell culture and virus isolation to produce autogenous vaccines while adhering to regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Work under minimal supervision to support cell culture and virus isolation projects.
• Follow SOPs diligently and efficiently.
• Conduct aseptic cell culture and assist in antigen isolation.
• Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment.
• Assist in documentation and error investigation.
• Collaborate with other departments and promote safety in the workplace.

Qualifications and Capabilities

• Familiarity with USDA/CVB regulations and veterinary microbiology principles.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to perform physical tasks.
• Degree in microbiology, biology, veterinary technology, or 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
