Diesel Mechanic

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work in a safe manner to promote an accident-free environment.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on various powered equipment, including construction equipment, trucks, tractors, cranes, engines, and trailers.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and air brake systems effectively.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks with high-quality standards.
• Diagnose equipment problems accurately and provide cost-effective and efficient repairs.
• Maintain a well-organized and clean repair shop.
• Manage spare parts inventory for maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Highly motivated team player with a sense of urgency and ownership.
• Ability to prioritize work and operate with minimal supervision.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and dedication to maintaining equipment.
• Technical degree preferred with 3-5 years of experience; equivalent experience considered.
• Valid driver's license and basic computer skills required.
