About the Diesel Mechanic Position
As a Diesel Mechanic with First Student, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing school buses to ensure vehicle readiness and safety. Key duties include preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and accurate completion of work orders.
Diesel Technician Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and a willingness to obtain CDL while employed.
- Minimum of 1 year of automotive or diesel maintenance experience or technical school education.
- Mechanic's tool set and willingness to participate in ASE certification program.
