Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Diesel or Automotive Mechanic to join our team at First Student. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing school buses to ensure vehicle safety and readiness. Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and repairs on school buses.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
• Ensure accuracy in work order completion and provide support for emergency services.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of automotive or diesel maintenance experience or technical school education.
• Possession of a mechanic's tool set.
• Willingness to participate in the ASE certification program.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL training provided.
