Job Summary
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Region V Services, you will play a crucial role in providing training and support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and community locations. Your efforts will contribute to enhancing the competencies of these individuals, helping them achieve personal goals, and fostering community relationships.
We are currently offering a hiring incentive of up to $1000 for successful applicants. Join us on a full-time basis with flexible scheduling options to accommodate individual needs, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Provide systematic training tailored to individual needs and goals.
- Collaborate with teams to develop personalized support plans.
- Maintain accurate records and data for accountability and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and adjust training programs to ensure individual progress.
- Act as a positive role model for socially enhancing behaviors.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist with personal hygiene, nutrition, medication, and community access.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions for continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Region V Services.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- Preferably one year of experience in human services.
Special Requirements
- Possession of a valid driver's license in Nebraska or reliable transportation.
- Must have means of communication and be willing to undergo background checks.
Compensation
Hourly wage range: $15.15 - $16.24
