Direct Support Professional - Relief (Turner, ME)

Job Description

We are looking for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Relief in Turner, ME, to join our team at Life Enrichment Advancing People (LEAP). As a DSP, you will have the opportunity to support individuals with developmental, cognitive, and intellectual disabilities, empowering them to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, assist, and instruct supported individuals in activities that enhance their independence and community engagement.
• Assist in housekeeping, meal preparation, and vehicle upkeep.
• Complete paperwork, attend meetings, and participate in training sessions.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience as an Ed Tech, CAN, BHP, or PSS is a plus.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and reliability.
