Director, IT Program Management (North America)

Job Description

We are looking for a visionary Director, IT Program Management for North America to lead a team of IT Program Management Managers and Specialists in delivering IT programs and projects that align with business objectives and global standards. The role involves overseeing program-level risks, quality, and procurement, and providing strategic guidance, governance, and talent development for the IT North America PMO. Responsibilities also include managing a workforce of PMOs, coordinating with stakeholders, fostering continuous improvement within the IT Function, and reporting program and project status to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strong strategy plan for IT North America Programs.
• Manage the full lifecycle of IT programs and projects, ensuring adherence to scope, quality, time, and budget requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders, manage risks, quality, and procurement, and create a culture of continuous improvement.
• Establish and implement impactful IT programs in alignment with regional and global objectives.
• Provide staffing and management for IT NA project portfolio initiatives.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team, fostering personal and professional growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field.
• 15+ years of IT and business/industry experience.
• 10+ years of leadership roles in major projects and programs.
• 5+ years of IT program and project management experience.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Certification in PMP, PgMP, or PMI-ACP is a plus.
