Director of Food & Beverage

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Director of Food & Beverage to lead our culinary and hospitality team at The Equinox Resort. The ideal candidate will drive marketing, sales, profitability, and service quality goals for the Food & Beverage Department. This strategic position necessitates a leader adept at developing and executing marketing strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead front-of-house food and beverage management professionals.
• Develop and manage budgets, marketing plans, and objectives.
• Contribute as a key member of the Executive Committee.
• Implement and maintain Food & Beverage sales/marketing programs.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and coaching of associates.
• Manage payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory, and budget.
• Collaborate with other resort departments for efficient guest service.
• Resolve customer complaints and maintain quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and brand standards.
• Maintain effective communication with Corporate Staff.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive hotel Food and Beverage experience.
• Strong presentation skills and service orientation.
• 3+ years of senior leadership experience in a resort environment.
• Preferably hold a Hotel/Hospitality degree.
• High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and proven leadership.
• Proficient in English communication and Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
• Experience in implementing new Food & Beverage concepts is a plus.
