Director, Toxicology

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is looking for a talented Director, Toxicology to manage the global nonclinical regulatory and investigative toxicology of assigned portfolio products. As an essential part of the team, the Director will work closely with cross-functional teams, oversee toxicology studies at CROs, and support drug development programs from research to registration phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and manage direct reports in toxicology activities.
• Design and monitor toxicology studies at external CROs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to nonclinical sections of regulatory submissions and other documents.
• Provide expertise in toxicology strategy and early development stages.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or related field with 8-10 years of industry experience.
• Experience in small and large molecules, oncology, and CNS indications.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory guidelines, GLP regulations, and authoring regulatory submissions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
