Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Dispatcher to join our team at RICH TRANSPORT LLC. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for managing dispatch calls, tracking driver activities, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role plays a crucial part in the coordination of our transportation operations.

Responsibilities

• Enter Bill of Lading information, ETAs, PTAs, and Trailer numbers daily.
• Communicate any delays promptly to the relevant departments.
• Monitor driver activities and weekly mileages, ensuring targets are met.
• Coordinate with load planners and assist in load assignments.
• Maintain accurate records and reports as requested by management.
• Ensure compliance with driving hours regulations.
• Promote a positive work environment and professional conduct.

Requirements

• Ability to work under pressure and maintain open communication with team members.
• Efficient handling of dispatch calls with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Familiarity with McLeod database for manifest building.
• Capability to prioritize and split loads for timely deliveries.
