Driver - Roswell Job Corps Center

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Driver to join our team at the Roswell Job Corps Center. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting students to various locations and performing general maintenance duties. This role requires adhering to all policies, maintaining positive relationships, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Transport students to vocational sites, medical centers, and recreational activities.
• Inspect vehicles for maintenance issues and report findings.
• Supervise students during outings and activities.
• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of all Center vehicles.
• Perform maintenance and custodial duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and ability to qualify for company vehicle insurance.
• Commercial driver's license with passenger bus endorsement (or willingness to obtain).
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and operation of power tools.

Physical Requirements

Frequent sitting, seeing, hearing, speaking, and driving. Occasional standing, walking, bending, and flexibility. Seldom climbing, lifting, carrying, kneeling, pushing/pulling, and running.

Environmental Demands

Ability to operate office equipment. Occasionally works alone. Majority of time spent interacting with team members and other departments. Ability to read and write at a college level.

Compensation

Hourly wage: $19.23
