Electrical Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Electrical Manager to join One Way Wireless Construction Inc., a leading contractor in building cellular telecommunications infrastructures. As part of our Electrical division, you will play a crucial role in sales, customer relationships, estimating, and project management to ensure the success of our projects.

Responsibilities

Sales and Customer relationships:

• Find and develop relationships with new electrical-based customers.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers and vendors.
• Take innovative initiatives with customers while aligning with the company's strengths.
• Plan and strategize workdays and weeks effectively.
• Provide timely updates to the Director of Operations on market trends and customer news.

Estimating and Bidding:

• Evaluate internal workflow and bid external projects accordingly.
• Adjust project estimates based on market conditions.
• Input bid and budget information into company software.
• Collaborate with Project Managers for electrical project estimates.
• Review project performance and adjust estimates based on P&L reports.
• Regularly update the Director of Operations on projects being bid on.

Project Management:

• Coordinate awarded projects with the Construction Management team.
• Adapt to changing business needs and step into related management roles.
• Coordinate with all departments as required.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of successful electrical project bidding experience.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset.
• Experience in customer relationship development.
• Familiarity with company values and ability to travel as needed.
• Strong computer literacy, including Office 365 and related applications.
• Experience with various software platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience in electrical infrastructure build-out industry.
• Master Electrician or Bachelor's degree in bidding and estimating construction work.
• Previous projects completed successfully from new customers to completion.
