Electrician

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Electrician to join Cargill's protein and salt business in Fort Morgan, CO. As part of our global team dedicated to safe and sustainable food production, you will play a crucial role in our operations.

Principal Accountabilities

• Execute automation solutions for controlling plant processes.
• Design and configure control systems and oversee electrical and instrumentation functions.
• Identify areas for improvement and reliability, providing training for completed projects.
• Participate in training and development courses offered by HR and external consultants.

Required Qualifications

• Must have permanent work authorization in the U.S without sponsorship.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team or individual setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Possess Automation, Electrical, and/or Instrumentation experience.
• Knowledge of control systems including PLC and HMI systems.
• Understanding of reliability centered maintenance, planning, and scheduling.
• Previous experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens systems is a plus.
