Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Engineer III - Design EE to join our team at EarthScope Consortium. This position involves providing technical leadership and oversight for complex geophysical projects across different locations globally. As an Engineer III, you will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers to implement and manage field operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to the design of innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical lead on the execution of geophysical projects involving multiple technologies.
- Set strategies for planning and executing project scopes.
- Identify and devise solutions for complex technical problems.
- Integrate geophysical technology and contribute to system design and testing.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and project budgets.
- Strengthen alliances with internal departments and external partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 4-7 years of experience with geophysical sensors or networks.
- Proficiency in data processing software, programming, and systems engineering.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in diverse environments and travel up to 30%.
