Responsibilities
- Lead or assist in developing permitting plans and strategies to meet client needs.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, technical experts, and regulatory agencies on project approvals.
- Review and synthesize technical content, write complete permit applications, and engage with clients for successful project outcomes.
- Facilitate client and partner meetings, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in environmental science, planning, policy, or related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in environmental reviews and permitting.
- Strong familiarity with federal, state, and local permitting processes.
- Exceptional writing skills for professional contexts.
- Prior consulting experience in the Puget Sound region is advantageous.
