Environmental Technician

Job Description

We are looking for an Environmental Technician to join Goucher College's Environmental Services team. Reporting to the Associate Director and Supervisors of Environmental Services, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of college buildings. As an essential part of the team, you will perform various cleaning tasks, assist in work assignments, and ensure compliance with standards.

Essential Job Functions:

• Vacuum, spot clean, and dust furniture and fixtures.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclable materials.
• Assist with snow removal and maintenance issue reporting.
• Inspect work to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Combination of training, experience, and education related to custodial cleaning.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three years of custodial experience required.
• Floor care training preferred.

Starting Salary:

$15.27 per hour
