Executive Director, Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations

Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Executive Director of Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations to lead our clinical operations team at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. This pivotal role involves overseeing the execution and delivery of our Oncology Phase 1-3 pipeline, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct all operational aspects of the late-stage oncology clinical development pipeline.
• Provide strategic operational planning and project cost estimations.
• Mentor and lead staff members to achieve project goals.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.
• Manage and maintain high-performing clinical teams.
• Provide technical expertise for the development of clinical documents.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with at least 10 years in oncology.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• In-depth knowledge of clinical research functions and ICH GCPs.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
• Deep understanding of metrics, KPIs, and clinical trial technology.

Education and Licenses

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
