Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a dedicated Executive Director for Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations to lead a team responsible for executing and delivering our Oncology Phase 1-3 pipeline. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in solid tumor clinical development, project management, and strategic planning, with a focus on operational excellence and team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct all operational aspects of the late-stage oncology clinical development pipeline.
  • Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of clinical research budgets and timelines.
  • Mentor and provide direction to staff, building and managing high-performing clinical teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence and project success.

Requirements

  • Minimum of fifteen years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with at least 10 years in oncology.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a deep understanding of clinical research functions and ICH GCPs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical operations, project management, and strategic planning.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required, MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Compensation

This role offers a competitive salary range of $256,000-$384,000, with additional benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k retirement plan, and flexible paid vacation.
