Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital, part of LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. As a Staff Nurse on the Brain Health Unit, you will provide safe and age-appropriate patient care, work as a part of a multidisciplinary team, and help older patients with neurocognitive disorders and medical co-morbidities. This full-time position requires a weekend commitment on day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized patient care and serve as a resource for patients and their families.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement necessary care and education.
- Evaluate and document patient outcomes to optimize care.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent knowledge in a specialized field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed RN.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR Card and Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, medical terminology, and nursing process skills.
