Job Description: Experienced REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - Brain Health Unit
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. The Brain Health Unit is dedicated to providing a safe environment for older patients with neurocognitive disorders and medical co-morbidities. As a Staff Nurse on the unit, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and age-appropriate patient care, conduct assessments, develop care plans, provide education, and evaluate outcomes. This full-time position requires a weekend commitment on day shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe and compassionate patient care.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on health management.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed RN.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License and BLS CPR certification.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and nursing process skills.
