Job Description
We are looking for an experienced REGISTERED NURSE (RN) to join our Brain Health Unit at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. This is a full-time position with a weekend commitment, day shift from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm. As a Staff Nurse on our Brain Health Unit, you will play a crucial role in providing safe, age-appropriate patient care and serving as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.
Unit Summary
The Brain Health Unit at Levindale is dedicated to older patients with neurocognitive disorders and medical co-morbidities. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to assess, manage medications, and create sustainable care plans that enhance the patients' quality of life. With a focus on safety and individualized care, we offer a supportive and engaging environment for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Provide patient care, education, and support based on care plans.
- Evaluate and document nursing practice outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed RN.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License and BLS CPR Card.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and medical terminology.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and nursing process skills.
