Job Description
We are looking for an Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital, Baltimore, MD. In this full-time position with a weekend commitment, you will be part of a specialized team dedicated to providing safe and age-appropriate patient care. Your responsibilities will include conducting patient assessments, developing care plans, implementing care and education, and evaluating outcomes.
Unit Summary
The Brain Health Unit at Levindale is designed to cater to older patients with neurocognitive disorders and medical co-morbidities. With a nurse patient ratio of 1:8-10, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to support and treat patients during their 20-25 day stay. Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed RN.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License and American Heart Association BLS CPR Card.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, basic computer skills, and medical terminology.
- Strong nursing process skills based on MD Nurse Practice Act and critical thinking abilities.
