Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital, Baltimore, MD. As a Staff Nurse on the Brain Health Unit, you will provide safe and age-appropriate patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, conduct assessments, develop individualized care plans, implement care and education, and evaluate outcomes of nursing practice. The BHU units are designed to offer a safe environment for older patients with neurocognitive disorders and medical co-morbidities. Responsibilities
- Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement care and education based on the plan of care.
- Evaluate outcomes of nursing practice.
Requirements
- An Associate's degree (2 years college).
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed RN.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR Card.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, medical terminology, and nursing process skills.
