Job Description
We are looking for an experienced REGISTERED NURSE (RN) to join our Brain Health Unit team at Levindale Hospital, Baltimore, MD. This full-time position with a weekend commitment offers day shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm.
Unit Summary
The Brain Health Unit is specialized in caring for older patients with neurocognitive disorders and medical co-morbidities. You will work in a safe environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and treatment that focuses on maximizing the quality of life for our patients.
Job Summary
As an RN in our Brain Health Unit, you will provide safe and age-appropriate patient care, act as an advisor and resource for patients and families, conduct assessments, develop and implement care plans, provide education, and evaluate outcomes of nursing practices.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed RN
- American Heart Association BLS CPR Card
- Maryland Registered Nurse License
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, medical terminology, and nursing process skills
