Job Description - Experienced REGISTERED NURSE (RN) Brain Health Unit
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. This full-time position includes a weekend commitment and day shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm. As a Staff Nurse in the Brain Health Unit, you will provide safe and age-appropriate patient care, develop and implement patient care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patients with neurocognitive disorders and medical co-morbidities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments.
- Develop and implement personalized patient care plans.
- Provide care, education, and support based on the care plan.
- Evaluate and document nursing practice outcomes.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed RN.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR Card.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and medical terminology.
