Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As a Staff Nurse on the Brain Health Unit, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing specialized care for older patients with neurocognitive disorders and medical co-morbidities. Your responsibilities will include conducting patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, implementing care and education, and evaluating outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and age-appropriate patient care.
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments.
- Develop and document individualized care plans.
- Implement care and education based on the care plan.
- Evaluate and document outcomes of nursing practice.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed RN.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR Card.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, medical terminology, and nursing process skills.
