Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Brain Health Unit at Levindale Health. This full-time position with a weekend commitment offers a unique opportunity to work in a specialized environment dedicated to providing care for older patients with neurocognitive disorders. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in partnering with a multidisciplinary team to support and treat patients, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and age-appropriate patient care.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments.
- Develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on care plans.
- Evaluate and document outcomes of nursing practice.
Requirements
- Associate's degree and Maryland RN license.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed RN.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR Card.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and nursing process skills.
- Strong critical thinking and medical equipment skills.
