Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital within LifeBridge Health. As a Staff Nurse on the Brain Health Unit, you will provide safe and age-appropriate patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure the well-being of older patients with neurocognitive disorders. This full-time position involves a day shift with a weekend commitment from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments for patients and their families.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide care, education, and support based on the care plan.
- Evaluate and document outcomes of nursing practices.
Requirements
- Associate's degree with a minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License and American Heart Association BLS CPR Card.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, medical terminology, and nursing process skills.
- Strong critical thinking and medical equipment skills.
