Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital, located in Baltimore, MD. This full-time position requires a weekend commitment on day shift (7:00am-7:30pm) as a Staff Nurse. As part of the Brain Health Unit, you will work in a safe environment with older patients who have neurocognitive disorders and medical co-morbidities. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide care, support, and treatment to patients, with a nurse-patient ratio of 1:8-10. Responsibilities
- Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care.
- Act as an advisor and resource for patients and families.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, develop care plans, and implement care and education.
- Evaluate and document nursing practice outcomes.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed RN.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR Card.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, medical terminology, and nursing process skills.
