Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital. As a Staff Nurse in the Brain Health Unit, you will work full-time with a weekend commitment on day shifts. Your primary responsibilities will include providing safe and age-appropriate patient care, acting as an advisor and resource for patients and families, conducting assessments, developing care plans, implementing care and education, and evaluating outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and age-appropriate patient care.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments.
- Develop and document care plans.
- Implement care and education based on care plans.
- Evaluate and document outcomes of nursing practice.
Requirements
- Associates degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed RN.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR Card.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, basic computer skills, medical terminology, and nursing process skills.
