Job Description
We are looking for an Experienced REGISTERED NURSE (RN) to join our Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital. In this full-time role with a weekend commitment, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing safe, age-appropriate patient care for older patients with neurocognitive disorders. The Brain Health Unit focuses on medication management and sustainable care to maximize patients' quality of life during their 20-25 day stay. Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and individualized patient care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Conduct assessments, provide education, and document patient progress.
- Adhere to nursing standards and critical thinking practices.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent with specialized knowledge.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed RN.
- Maryland RN license and BLS CPR certification.
- Proficiency in medical terminologies and nursing processes.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
