Levindale is a 330-bed facility offering post-acute services for patients recovering from illness or injury. The Brain Health Unit provides specialized care for older patients with neurocognitive disorders.
Unit Summary
The Brain Health Unit at Levindale consists of two units with a total bed capacity of 60. The unit focuses on providing a safe environment for patients with neurocognitive disorders, offering personalized care and support from a multidisciplinary team.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide safe and age-appropriate patient care
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on care plans
- Evaluate and document nursing outcomes
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- American Heart Association BLS CPR Card
- Maryland RN License
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and medical terminology
- Strong critical thinking and nursing process skills
