Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. The Brain Health Unit is designed to provide a safe environment for older patients with neurocognitive disorders and medical co-morbidities. As a Staff Nurse on the Brain Health Unit, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to assess, implement medication management, and create sustainable care plans to enhance the patients' quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and age-appropriate patient care.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' needs.
- Develop and document personalized care plans.
- Implement care and education based on the care plan.
- Evaluate and document nursing practice outcomes.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed RN.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR Card.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and medical terminology.
- Strong critical thinking and nursing process skills.
