Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital. As a Staff Nurse on the Brain Health Unit, you will work full-time with a weekend commitment during day shifts. The Brain Health Unit is specifically designed to provide a safe environment for older patients with neurocognitive disorders and medical co-morbidities, offering a unique opportunity for impactful patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and age-appropriate patient care.
- Act as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, developing personalized care plans.
- Implement care and education based on the plan of care.
- Evaluate and document nursing practice outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed RN.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License and American Heart Association BLS CPR Card.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Medical terminology, and Nursing Process skills.
- Critical thinking skills and familiarity with medical equipment.
