Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. This is a full-time position with a weekend commitment on day shift (7:00am-7:30pm). As a Staff Nurse in the Brain Health Unit, you will provide safe and age-appropriate patient care, function as an advisor and resource for patients and their families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and document initial and ongoing patient assessments.
- Develop and document personalized care plans.
- Provide care, education, and support based on the care plan.
- Evaluate and document nursing practice outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed RN.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR Card.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, medical terminology, and nursing process skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills and familiarity with medical equipment.
