Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital, a 330-bed facility in Baltimore. As a Staff Nurse on the Brain Health Unit, you will work full-time with a weekend commitment on day shifts. The Brain Health Unit focuses on providing care to older patients with neurocognitive disorders and medical co-morbidities, aiming to enhance their quality of life during their 20-25 day stay.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and age-appropriate patient care.
- Conduct and document initial and ongoing assessments.
- Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Implement care, educate patients and families, and evaluate outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
- Maryland RN license and American Heart Association BLS CPR Card.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and nursing processes.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
