Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. This full-time position involves a weekend commitment with day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm. As a staff nurse on the Brain Health Unit, you will be responsible for providing safe, age-appropriate patient care, acting as an advisor and resource for patients and their families. You will assess patient needs, develop a care plan, implement care and education, and evaluate outcomes. The Brain Health Unit focuses on older patients with neurocognitive disorders, providing a supportive and engaging environment to maximize quality of life.
Requirements
- Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed RN
- American Heart Association BLS CPR Card
- Maryland Registered Nurse License
- Skills in nursing process, critical thinking, and medical equipment
