Job Description
We are looking for an Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital, located in Baltimore, MD. As a staff nurse on the Brain Health Unit, you will be an essential part of a multidisciplinary team, providing safe, age-appropriate patient care to older patients with neurocognitive disorders and medical co-morbidities. Your responsibilities will include conducting patient assessments, developing care plans, implementing patient care and education, and evaluating outcomes to maximize quality of life.
Unit Summary
The Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for patients with neurocognitive disorders. With a focus on medication management and sustainable care plans, our team strives to enhance patient well-being during their 20-25 day stay. Nurse-to-patient ratios are maintained at a level that ensures quality care delivery and support.
Requirements
- Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed RN.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR Card.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, medical terminology, and nursing process skills.
