Job Description
We are looking for an Experienced REGISTERED NURSE (RN) to join our Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital, located in Baltimore, MD. This is a full-time position with a weekend commitment on the day shift (7:00am-7:30pm). As a Staff Nurse in the Brain Health Unit, you will be part of a specialized team dedicated to providing comprehensive care to older patients with neurocognitive disorders and medical co-morbidities.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and age-appropriate patient care
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients and their families
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Deliver care, education, and support based on the care plan
- Evaluate and document nursing practice outcomes
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed RN
- American Heart Association BLS CPR Card
- Maryland Registered Nurse License
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, medical terminology, and nursing processes
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
