Job Description
Children First Inc is looking for a dedicated Family Advocate to join our team. The Family Advocate plays a crucial role in supporting family well-being, promoting children's learning and development, and fostering strong parent communication and involvement.
Education and Experience
- Baccalaureate Degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field.
- Two years of experience in a family/social services or early childhood setting.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR.

- Community engagement and resource access.
- Effective communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology for program monitoring and reporting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, kneel, stoop, and attend to children's needs.
Service Delivery
Ensure high-quality program services aligned with Head Start Performance Standards and organizational policies. Support school readiness and comprehensive services for families.
