Field Industrial Technician

Job Description

GSM Industrial, a regional leader since 1983 in industrial fabrication, installation, and mechanical contracting, is seeking Field Industrial Technicians to support our Field Operations. Our technicians earn between $20 and $30 per hour, with an opportunity to earn up to $100,000 per year through overtime and shift differentials.

Field Industrial Technicians travel to job sites to perform various installation tasks related to industrial mechanical contracting projects, which may include welding, rigging, millwright, painting, and more. Tasks often involve working from ladders, high reaches, and under challenging conditions. Operating various equipment and machinery is a core part of the job, as well as working with steel structures, weldments, piping systems, pressure vessels, and sheet metal components.

Requirements

Candidate must meet compensation details of $45,000 to $100,000 yearly salary and be willing to work in challenging industrial environments with a focus on safety.
