Firmware Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Firmware Engineer to join EndoSec LLC. As a Firmware Engineer, you will be involved in developing software and firmware with a security focus, encompassing high-speed cryptographic acceleration and various processing algorithms. Your role will include researching evolving security features, staying updated on FPGA and ASIC attack methodologies, assisting in threat tree analyses, and creating security-centric modules.

Responsibilities

• Research constantly evolving vendor-specific security features
• Stay abreast of FPGA and ASIC attack methodologies
• Construct threat tree analyses with diverse team members
• Create reports for varied audiences to simplify complex security concepts
• Aid in developing security-centric firmware, hardware, and software modules

Requirements

• Strong background in CS and Mathematics
• Knowledge of hardware description languages
• Experience in testing methodology and software engineering principles
• Proficiency in programming languages and practical cryptography
• Masters degree in relevant field and 2 years of industry experience preferred
• Ability to obtain a United States DoD security clearance
