Fleet Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Prestige Fleet Services is looking for a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Fleet Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers. If you are a self-motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and a passion for maintaining vehicles, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on trucks and trailers, including brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, and engine components.
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair or replace vehicle/trailer components as needed.
• Manage inventory on the service truck and obtain parts from local vendors.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to utilize electronic work order processing.
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays when necessary.
