Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
- Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
- Repair and replace vehicle/trailer components.
- Manage inventory on the service truck and obtain parts from local vendors.
- Accurately complete all forms and documentation in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work flexible hours.
- Valid Driver's License and self-motivation with excellent organizational skills.
- Experience in electronic processing of work orders and basic computer skills.
- Proper tools and ability to meet physical job requirements.
