Join the Boone County Fiscal Court Public Works Department as a Fleet Services Mechanic. Major Essential Duties
- Perform tasks of Fleet Services Shop Leader when required
- Maintain shop facilities and tools
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of vehicles and equipment
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules
- Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, and brake systems
- Handle on-location service calls
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with significant automotive maintenance experience
- Effective communication and analytical skills
- ASE Certification in Automotive Repair and valid Kentucky driver's licenses
- Understanding of occupational safety practices and engine operations
Compensation: $22 per hour
