Job Description

ThedaCare is seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Float Pool team. As an RN in the Float Pool, you will have the opportunity to work across various units and departments, showcasing your expertise, broadening your skillset, and making a meaningful impact on patient care throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care across the continuum.
• Collaborate with an interprofessional team to ensure compassionate and safe care.
• Promote a culture of innovation, growth, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) or commitment to obtain within five years of hire.
• Two years experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital setting.
• Experience with Float Pool and/or Resource teams in healthcare settings.
• Current Wisconsin RN or compact nursing licensure.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move freely, lift up to fifty pounds without assistance, and handle potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Work Environment

• Exposure to various environmental factors including sharp objects, hazardous materials, and potential communicable diseases.
• Use of computers throughout the workday.
