Job Description
We are looking for a talented Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Greenbelt. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the front desk team to ensure exceptional customer service, smooth operations, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have previous hotel experience and at least 1 year of relevant supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain outstanding customer care and uphold a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Handle inquiries, complaints, and reservations efficiently and courteously.
- Supervise daily shift processes, train front desk staff, and resolve issues effectively.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and company policies.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet guests' needs and enhance their experience.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Front Desk Representative or Front Desk Cashier.
- Supervisory experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma required.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
Evaluation Criteria
Performance evaluation based on quality of work, attendance, guest relations, compliance with company policies, safety standards, and initiative.
Work Environment
Work primarily in hotel guest rooms and public areas. Some office work may be required. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be necessary.
