Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, developing operational plans, and nurturing a high-performing team. The Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in ensuring overall store performance, interacting with customers, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve store operations.
  • Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback on product strategies.
  • Participate in the interviewing process and ensure inventory procedures are followed.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, stock levels, and quality of products.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and provide excellent customer service.
  • Comply with company policies and uphold store security measures.

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of company policies and procedures.
  • Prior retail management experience is preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years progressive experience in a retail setting.
  • Prior management experience is an advantage.
