Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, developing operational plans, and nurturing a high-performing team. The Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in ensuring overall store performance, interacting with customers, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve store operations.
- Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback on product strategies.
- Participate in the interviewing process and ensure inventory procedures are followed.
- Maintain store cleanliness, stock levels, and quality of products.
- Supervise day-to-day operations and provide excellent customer service.
- Comply with company policies and uphold store security measures.
Job Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of company policies and procedures.
- Prior retail management experience is preferred.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years progressive experience in a retail setting.
- Prior management experience is an advantage.
